Game Thread: Griffins vs. Wolves

Stay connected for news and updates

Mark Newman / Grand Rapids Griffins

Grand Rapids continues to search for a way to hold leads and win games.

After to straight nights of giving up a lead to lose a game, the Griffins finish out their three-game weekend in Chicago against the Canucks' AHL Team, the Wolves.

Chicago sits first in the Griffins' Midwest Division with a 5-2-0 record. The Wolves boast a roster with Chris Tanev, Zack Kassian, and Guillaume Desbiens (the goods),

While the Griffins haven't struggled to score lately, their opponents haven't either. Only two teams in the entire AHL have given up as many goals as Grand Rapids and one of them (Connecticut) has played more games than the Griffins. The team will need to start playing better as a five-man unit if they want to start winning games and climbing out of the division basement they find themselves in.

Puck drops at 5. Let's go Griffins!
