Off the ice, he hogs the guacamole and chips while at lunch with Darren Helm, who has become his second son.
What is this warm and fuzzy feeling inside? It makes me want to say “Awwwwww” when I read something like this about Bertuzzi. Helm and Bert definitely have a great bond. Is there anyone on this team who isn’t close? It’s like a great big family.

This is a great article!
And as a Bertuzzi fan, I’m thrilled to see some media on what kind of a man he really is. I’m also thrilled that I’ll be at the Joe early Thursday so ensure I get my own Bertuzzi bobblehead. I’m proud of Bert for becoming the person/player that he is. It absolutely gives me warm fuzzy feelings inside and is yet one more reason why I’m proud of this team. I firmy believe that we all make decisions in our lives that we can’t take back or undo and sometimes those haunt us forever. BUT I also know that people change, and I’m not going to judge someone based upon something in their history that clearly does not indicate who they are now. I was at game 2 against Phoenix last spring and was a proud parcipant in the “Todd-Ber-Tuzzi” chant that rang out in the Joe. Thanks for posting the link, got my day off to a fantastic start.
