Just the WAY this argument is being presented sounds kinda snooty. As long as you aren’t disturbing those around you… do whatever the F you want. If you’re gonna act like a heathen, watch the game from home. There really need be no other rules than that.

I was at the Canes-Caps game last night

There was a really annoying threesome in front of me, mostly as they danced and stood at terrible times during the game.

I would say the only rule is respect the people behind you. Other than that most everything goes.

I really do miss Raleigh

The Cane’s games were so much fun. My company had season tix on the club level & always let me get the Wings ones. The cheerleaders weren’t bad either. But now I miss the sun, PDX isn’t known for tan people. That was a fun game too – the Caps looked like they were napping for most of the game. I really hope the Canes run can get them in but it’s not likely.

Oh I love the RBC Center

Its so much fun to be there. Everyone is super nice (except for those 3 people last night). Its been great going being there!

Bourne has a great article showing how terrible the Caps were last night… I have yet to see and Ovie goal live. Its been 2 games this should have happened already…

I wouldn’t even say that. People get disturbed for dumb reasons (like you’re wearing the color yellow, for instance).

I covered my part in the comments of that article yesterday, but pretty much as long as you’re not offensively cursing or (like holmstrom96 points out) preventing them from actually being able to see the game action, then it’s fine.

General rule of thumb: If you feel like you have to set rules by which everybody can attain the maximum level of “fun” without any hurt feelings, then you are probably not a fun person to be around.

Winterhawks games are fun – especially if you’re a few beers in. The train takes you right outside then entrance & back to right in front of my apartment in about 10 minutes.
