Leafs-Wings 24/7
So, the 2013 Winter Classic has officially been announced. It will feature our Detroit Red Wings facing off against the Toronto Maple Leafs in a classic Original 6 Match-up at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. The city of Detroit was not forgotten as Comerica Park is set to host various events leading up to the Winter Classic. Most of us have known about this for awhile but now that it is official we can look forward to things such as new jerseys, the alumni game, and other festivities.
There's also the possibility of HBO renewing Road to the Winter Classic: 24/7 for another season that would feature both teams which I'm sure everyone would love to see. The question is, if it happens, who will be the stand-out camera stars on both sides?
This year, which featured the Flyers and Rangers, had an assortment of different personalities appear on screen. The variety ranged from the odd Ilya Bryzgalov and his stories about tigers in China to Sean Avery and his creepy fashion shoot. Of course, you can't forget Tortorella and Laviolette's colorful speeches before and during games.
I think the obvious guesses as to who will be the camera stars for the Red Wings side would be Howard, Datsyuk, and Bertuzzi. I think guys like Hudler, Cleary, and Abdelkader can also step up and provide us some quality entertainment as well.
On the Toronto side, i think guys like Grabovski, Kessel (lol), and Phaneuf will stand out the most. I think Wilson is also a good bet to put on a performance similar to Tortorella's this year.
Anyway, what do you guys think? Who will shine on 24/7 from both sides? What will Babcock's speeches look or sound like? Will next year's 24/7 be entertaining as this years (if it happens)? Remember, this is all speculation and it's just for fun so feel free to discuss!
EDIT: I remember someone posting about this awhile back, but i thought I'd make my own post now since the Winter Classic is now official and we got a taste of what 24/7 could be like with NHL36's feature on Lidstrom. It still may or may not happen, but for now we can speculate as to what it would be like.

Datsyuk, Datsyuk, and more Datsyuk
But Babcock’s not happy about this
"Goaltending is a normal job, sure. How would you like it in your job if every time you made a small mistake, a red light went on over your desk and 15,000 people stood up and yelled at you."
-Jacques Plante
There is talk that HBO will not do a 24/7
But I hope they do.
Seeing Lidstrom do the NHL 36 just sparked the fact that I want to see everything going on behind the scene.
"Pavel Datsyuk is Magic."
