Red Wings' Niklas Kronwall defends hit on Jakub Voracek, but Flyers still upset to see teammate go down | MLive.com
The Wings lost to Philly, but this is the real story. Please check out the previous post about this hit for some good discussion/debate about it. My thoughts? No suspension due to the fact Voracek put himself in a vulnerable position. And if you think Kronwall should have just not made the check, well, Voracek is responsible for keeping his head up when he knows the defenseman is there. If that's not the case, then every player should just skate with his head down all the time and not worry about getting hit. Never want to see a guy get hurt, but let's not be stupid about this.

Turnovers are a bitch. There was not one goal that Philly scored where they had to work hard for it. Three goals off three Wings mistakes. Literally giving the game away.

Tatar progresses despite production plateau | Red Wings Central
I'm personally a little down on Tatar these days. I still think he can be an effective player at the NHL level, but I think he's more in the Hudler mold than a Filppula/Zetterberg type. The kid still has a lot of upside to him though.

KuklasKorner : The Malik Report : There’s a phone number Wings fans can use to turn in the guy who assaulted councilman Abraham
More on what you can do to help find the people who assaulted a Dearborn councilman. If you know anything or know someone who knows something about it, please contact the authorities if you have any information. Any info helps.

Sidney Crosby has been cleared for contact, could play as soon as Sunday | Backhand Shelf | Blogs | theScore.com
Pittsburgh should just save him for the playoffs. They're going to get in to the tournament. Just get Crosby healthy and bolster your roster when it matters most. Maybe...maybe play him the last few games just to get his game legs back.

NBA Owners Will Vote Next Month To Sell Ad Space On Jerseys | With Leather
If the NBA jumps out as the first of the major sports in the US to do this, I don't see hockey as being far behind.

Let's Go Red Wings.
