Two Game Sevens tonight to finish out the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Will tonight live up to last night's excitement? Will Twitter commenters behave themselves better at least?
Ottawa Senators (8) vs. New York Rangers (1) - 7:00 NBCSN: The upstart Sens couldn't finish off the Rangers back in Ontario and now face the task of doing so at Madison Square Garden. Chris Neil was a bigger story than any other Senators player in the last game. I have a feeling that's going to have to change if Ottawa is going to advance. The Rangers will need to continue to find their game this playoffs after such a great regular season. Their reward for a victory would be the Washington Capitals.
New Jersey Devils (6) vs. Florida Panthers (3) - 8:30 NHLN/NBCSN: The Devils took game 6 to overtime and got the winner through Scott Clemmensen to force the decider in this series. They won't be selling rats inside the arena tonight, but you can bet we're probably going to see a few regardless. Will this be Parise's last game in a Devils uniform? Will Tomas Kopecky score another goal without actually scoring a goal? Tune in after the other game and find out.
Here's how tonight controls the matchups:
If the Rangers & Panthers win: NYR(1)/WSH(7) & FLA(3)/PHI(5)
If the Rangers & Devils win: NYR(1)/WSH(7) & PHI(5)/NJD(6)
If the Senators & Panthers win: FLA(3)/OTT(8) & PHI(5)/WSH(7)
If the Senators & Devils win: PHI(5)/OTT(8) & NJD(6)/WSH(7)
