Fans in Pittsburgh just can't help being giddy after all the draft day fireworks as it was revealed that Sideny Crosby and Zach Parise are, indeed, best friends.

Every day after hockey practice, Zach gets dropped off at the Lemieux's house by his mom, and usually, "he just rushes straight down to the basement to go hang out with Sidney." says Mrs. Lemieux.

When not swapping baseball cards and chowing down on Mini Pizza Bagels, Zach and Sidney do regular guy stuff, like play with action figures, swap baseball cards, and talk about girls.

"Sometimes, you can still hear them playing videogames at 2, 3 in the morning," revealed a concerned Mario Lemieux, "It's like they'd rather hang out then do their home work. Quite frankly, I'm a little worried for Sid's future."

Lately, the two have been really into building blanket forts, and Zach's even been able to convince Sidney that comic books "aren't all for nerds and geeks."

Said Darren Dreger, "They hang out all the time, but if you're Ray Shero, you've got to worry about whether they hang out too much, and whether they'd just goof off and play pranks rather than take their studies seriously if PArise were to transfer to the Penguins."

Still, Mrs. Lemieux isn't worried. "Boys will be boys."
