A message from players to fans about the NHL Lockout

The players chose to go the pandering route rather than the passive-aggressive route, pushing really hard on the "We just want to play hockey" and "We're so sorry that the fans will suffer" angles with a healthy dose of "we kind of hate that we have to demand to get paid, but hey, as long as that's the truth, we want to be paid fairly!" angle

I thought the players made better points in their message than today's earlier NHL message, but I think the way they delivered it is every bit as insulting to fans' intelligence and is annoyingly pandering.
