The Wings got their first win of the season in a manner befitting them (a blown lead and a shootout). Tonight they face a more-rested Dallas Stars squad in Detroit for their home opener. Homer has already ridden off into the solar eclipse and Kent Huskins is on the blue line.

The Stars have Ray Whitney and Jaromir Jagr to help bring along skill guys like Jamie Benn and Loui Eriksson. Mike Ribeiro and Steve Ott are gone, so the team is already significantly less dickbaggy than they were last season. Still, I don't like them and I want the Wings to beat them.
