I'm currently studying for an MBA with a concentration in Sports Management, and one of the things we are encouraged to do is do our own analysis on anything we enjoy. So, with the game this afternoon (or, morning for me on the west coast!), I decided to take a closer look at how teams are succeeding to this point, relative to how much they shoot the puck - or don't, in some cases. Hopefully you'll find it informative and get something out of it.

A couple figures to keep in mind while reading: the Wings rank 12th in SOG, 16th in Shooting Percentage, 17th in Goals, and T-9th in Wins.
