The first meeting of the season between Detroit and Vancouver. The Canucks have somewhat quietly built a good lead in their division and have nestled well into their familiar place as a conference contender. They didn't solve their too-many-goalies problem, but those goalies are solving lots of issues for the team right now.
Vancouver is good and they're good against Detroit. Both teams are playing their third in four nights, but the Canucks had last night off. No excuses here. It's a home game for the Wings and they need to win this.
