Twitter was all abuzz this morning when the rumors came out, but the diggers are now confirming.
Mrazek starting in goal for #redwings; Kindl in for Huskins

I'd be remiss if I didn't give a stick-tap to Kenny Walls (@LongBallsWalls) in Ottawa, who reported this story two hours before everybody else after speaking to Mrazek himself about tonight's start.
@redwingsfeed From the horses mouth.

I mean, he either heard from Mrazek, or there's a very intelligent horse somewhere in Ottawa that will soon have to enjoy living life on the run from secret government agents who want to use him for experiments and whatnot.
Where were we? Oh yeah, Mrazek's in, Kindl's in, Huskins out, Tatar in, Eaves out, Howard charting faceoffs. Fun times!
If we're looking for "tests' and "messages" from Babcock, sending this lineup out against the Blues on the road is certainly going to do that. Huskins has been the Red Wings' best penalty-killing forward so far, but Kindl needs his shot to prove he's worth ice time. Jimmy Howard is coming off an awful game in Columbus and more of an unlucky-but-still-kind-of-bad performance against Calgary and may just need the rest. Maybe this will help exorcise the demons of Kenny Holland's past and stop the night sweats of him remembering getting called up too early as a young goaltender and never being able to recover from that.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens tonight, one way or another. It's going to be interesting no matter what.
Let's go Red WIngs!
