Detroit needs the points available in this game. After dropping so many games they should have won, they're going to have to make them up in games where it might be more understandable not to.
The Wings are on their third in four nights after going to OT against Edmonton yesterday. Vancouver has been waiting since they dropped seven on the Predators on Thursday night. Alain Vigneault is the zone-matchiest coach in the league and will have last change, so whatever he wants to do for matchups, he's going to get his way.
Just find a way to win.
