Colorado is gearing up for their big NBCSN Wednesday Night Rivalry Game against Chicago, but first they have to take a stop in Detroit to play against the Red Wings.
Ryan O'Reilly is back and the Avs have probably two or three other good players as well. They're probably going to want to win this game.
Seems every time these two teams play we have to nod back to the rivalry that's been dead for years. MHH's game preview wondered if the Wings playing down to a level closer to where the Avalanche reside will help re-spark it. It's a good point, but holy shit is that sad.
