Trades for Ian White

With Colaiacovo coming back this coming weekend (assumed), I think it's time we cut Ian White loose. He wants to play, he deserves to play somewhere if not here.

So how about Florida?

Red Wings get:

Drew Shore or Peter Mueller

Mueller is a guy that may not excel as a Red Wing but has loads of talent. I think he's a little thin skinned and can be a whiner at times. But that was when he and Turris were together in Phoenix. I haven't heard a peep from him in Florida. He's a big guy (6'2 204) with good hands and can ride a scoring streak. Playing RW with a RH shot, he would do well on Datsyuk's line. He is an RFA after this year and only 24.

Shore is a young centerman but at 6'3 he needs to add to the 190 frame. He's also a RH shot which would play well with Datsyuk. He's on his EL contract until 15-16. He is currently 22.

Both have put up ok points but nothing substantial. Maybe a change of scenery would benefit them. I personally like the idea of Shore more than Mueller because of his age and size.
