I'm not one to ramble about how the next game is a big one and the next is a must win. Every game is significant, whether its at the end of the season or in the beginning. But Wings fans we might see the first non-playoff season in over 20 years. My lifetime has been filled with playoff hockey, even if it was a short one or a deep playoff run. But this season is different. And this next game is different. If the wings lose this game their season is over.
Even though we have an extra game on Columbus, their talent and has been out performing ours. They were buyers during the trading deadline and we apparently couldn't afford giving up a first round pick for some key players (thanks Holland). Dallas is right on our heels and they were sellers during the deadline. Two teams that are hot right and were still playing like its October.
Calgary could have been an easy win if we played smart hockey. We need to be clicking on all cylinders in order to win against Vancouver, because if we don't our season will be over.
