So I just got done reading a pretty good article Understanding Jersey Numbers at the The Score and it brought up a few pretty good questions.
What is the best hockey number (ever or in use today)? I like 13 both for Datsyuk and because so many people find it unlucky. 19 is also great.
What is the worst hockey number (ever or in use today)? For me it is a tie between 69 which only tools wear (It isn't hilarious) and 87 (I am biased).
Are there any rules you would have with hockey numbers? I.E. goalies need to wear a number in the 30's or 1.
The history of double numbers is pretty stoic, should only great players be allowed to wear them?
So what do you think? If we have enough comments for their favorite/least favorite number, I will update the post with a poll.
