Beard Stroking Time: Tomas Tatar

I'm sure that everyone knows this by now, but Danny Cleary is back with the Red Wings.

Some people are OK with it, some not so much. I don't think I've seen or heard anyone particularly ecstatic about it, but I know of someone who's really not excited about it: Tomas Tatar.

Granted: Tatar and Buckets don't fulfill the same duties, Cleary has very good CSSI numbers, he knows the system, is generally beloved by the entire organization as far as I can tell, AND he played all 48 games last season*.

So, why then is Tatar saying stuff like this (the link is in Slovak, but you should be able to translate it easy enough)? Wherein he states that the Red Wings have 17 forwards now, when they need to trim down to 14; that he's been in Grand Rapids for four seasons, and just won a Calder Cup (AND the playoff MVP, he doesn't mention it but it's worth noting). Why is he the only one of the Red Wings prospects (that I've read or heard about) saying things like this?

I've asked myself this question over and over, and didn't really have a solid hypothesis until he posted something on facebook: "He's a very good talent, excellent even, so why then is he kept down in Grand Rapids?"

Maybe because he's even more vocal in private, and his attitude is what's keeping him in the minors.
