Quick recap: Last year's finals were neck-and-neck between Perry and Sidney Christby before Perry used his water bottle to squirt water at Sid the Kid's nuts then took off and sprinted all the way to the finish line while Christy laid on the ice and waited for someone to pick him up and carry him home. With the win, Perry joined his former teammate (now turned corpse) Chris Pronger as the first two champions of our young, annual contest.
With the Wings now one year removed from the Western Conference one expects it to go much differently than it did in the past. Last year out of the 9 NHL players to make it into the second round, only two came from the East and both were from the same team (Christby and Matt Cooke). We know realignment will make a change, the question is just how much of one.
The other question is of course just how easily Milan Spearcic will run away with this and if there's a single other person on here with a chance in hell of stopping him. (I'm guessing not but what the fuck do I know)
Well we won't find out for sure until we do this so without further ado:
