Hey guys!! I mentioned this in a game thread and was asked to post here. Basically, my son did a great job on his report card and I am looking to purchase tickets to come to the Joe for the first time ever. My son is seven years old and loves Detroit sports. I am looking for tickets for the game on the 10th vs the Ducks or the 12th vs the Flyers. Need 2 tickets and am looking for a deal. If needed I will use stubhub, but didn't know if you guys new of a less expensive alternate. the reason for the dates is we are going to go to the Dats signing at DC Sports on the 11th and since Detroit is a 4 hour drive figured we would make a weekend out of it. Trade rumor?

What the hell is all this talk about stamkos being traded for datsyuk? Holland wouldnt do that. if we were going to try to get stamkos we would never trade datsyuk, zetterburgh, or holmstrom. some one please tell me whats going on about this talk, and thanks.

Eulogy for the Blackhawks

I'm sure many of us here at WIIM deeply regret the loss of our little brother. To be taken away from us after a mere 2 years of relevancy - why's hockey so unfair?! Truth be told, Chicago and their fancy goal song and their creative chants probably come back strong next year, but before the 2nd round gets underway, I'm all for taking in their delicious tears. As said in the 2nd round preview, we don't need to be posting on their website, but I welcome any thoughts you might have here. I'm pretty sure they are frequent visitors here; after all, this is the best site for fans with Stanley Cup winning teams.

KHL approves Hudler's contract

Bye Bye Jiri Hudler. The KHL has approved his 2 year contract with Moscow, so no matter what comes of yesterday's meeting, Hudler is gone...atleast for 2 years.
