This week on WIIM Radio we're joined by the biggest guest in the short history of our podcast, non other than the man behind the curtain at Puck Daddy, Greg Wyshynski. We get Wysh's take on Hockey Day in America, the Red Wings 23-game home win streak, and some of the bigger stories around the NHL these days. Wysh also explains his thoughts on Red Wings fans and their tin foil hats and we dig a little deeper into his "feud" with Abel to Yzerman and the 19. Wyshynski is a Devils fan, so we find out where he thinks Zach Parise will end up next season (Hint: It's not New Jersey). First and foremost, we'd like to thank our WIIM readers. Our latest podcast (Episode 13...available here!) had more downloads in the first day than any other podcast we've ever done. Through two days it's already the fourth most downloaded episode and when all is said and done will most likely be our most downloaded podcast yet. We just wanted to let everyone out there know that we appreciate everyone listening to our rants about the Wings and our inappropriate jokes and putting up with Graham's Canadian accent.

Of course, just because we've had our most successful podcast ever doesn't mean we're going to stand pat. Next week we're going to have a special guest on the podcast. None other than Puck Daddy himself Greg Wyshynski will be joining WIIM Radio to get more of a national perspective on the Red Wings, their home win streak, and some potential trade deadline targets.

Finally, Monday February 27 is the NHL trade deadline. We normally record our podcasts Sunday night and release them Monday morning. Due to the trade deadline, we're going to be recording the night of Monday February 27 and release the podast Tuesday morning. We want to be able to give you listeners our immediate reaction to whatever Ken Holland and the Red Wings do at the deadline. I still think they're going to get Paul Gaustad, but I'll warn you know, if any big name is acquired it will probably just be an hour or us sounding like little children opening badass presents on Christmas morning.

He's The Godfather of sorts when it comes to hockey at SBNation. We chat about the Flyers/Red Wings game and get his take on the Wings tying Philly's home win streak record. The Wings won all four games last week, yet left somewhat of a unsatisfying feeling among us all. Plus, we tell you why the Blues suck and what to expect from tonight's game. We also touch on a variety of other Wings topics, including trades, the Zetterberg/Nikitin incident, and the Wings current historic home winning steak.

It's Monday morning and WIIM Radio is back to it's regular schedule (and will be for the foreseeable future).

This week, myself, JJ, Tyler, a returning Marlon look back at a crappy loss to the Islanders and discuss what the Red Wings' identity is. We also breakdown the Wings win over the Blackhawks and look at how ridiculously competitive the Central Division is.

Graham joins the conversation halfway through the podcast because he was off doing stupid things and late to the recording. We forgive him, but if it happens again he's banned from the podcast and we're trading him to Florida or Calgary or some city that hates hockey or has a crappy hockey team.
