For the first time in awhile, the Detroit Red Wings have actually lowered their pre-season ticket prices. Pre-season games usually costed the exact same as the regular season. I guess with the poor Michigan economy, they decided to lower the cost of tickets in order to increase the number of people in the seats.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday (August 30th) at 10am.
Reserved seats are priced at $22 and $44 and standing-room tickets are available at $27. Fans can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m on Thursday at the Joe Louis Arena Box Office, all TicketMaster locations, including Hockeytown Café, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, or charge by phone at 248-645-6666.
Fans also can purchase tickets by logging on to DetroitRedWings.com. There is no limit to the number of available tickets an individual may purchase.
The first pre-season game is on the road in Minnesota on September 18th. Two days later, the Wings will face Minnesota at the Joe. Can't wait to see hockey return to the Joe!
