The Detroit Red Wings (31-11-7) host the St. Louis Blues (20-24-4) for the second time this season at Joe Louis Arena to start a three-game homestand. Detroit is currently in a five-game
winning losing streak so hopefully a week playing home will quickly end that and help dispel the "sky is falling" talk by fans. St. Louis is 8-21-2 with one tie at the Joe since Dec. 31, 1997 according to the Associated Press so hopefully that will continue tonight.
Since Ty Conklin got the start on Saturday, I would guess that Chris Osgood will get the start. The status of Henrik Zetterberg's back and Tomas Holmstrom's groin is unknown. If I had to take a gander, I would say that Hank will be in but Homer will remain out.
While I will be at the game, please leave your thoughts on the game and I will respond to them as soon as I can. The game starts at 7 p.m. and will be shown on Versus. Go Wings!
