Coming off a solid 4-1 performance at home against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Red Wings head down to Dallas to take on Stars team that's skidding. They're 3-7 in their last 10 games and have fallen to 11th in the Western Conference.
The Stars are led by Brad Richards, with 13 goals and 53 points (good for seventh in the league). The Stars lost to the Montreal Canadiens 5-3 despite goals from Mike Modano, Steve Ott, and Todd Petersen.
It will be the 11th straight start for Jimmy Howard, who's quickly laying claim to the Calder Trophy. The game starts at 2:00 pm ET on Fox Sports Detroit and My 27 in Dallas.
(Wait...you're allowed to air hockey games on over-the-air stations in local markets? Since when? Can someone forward me the memo?)
