Detroit heads to San Jose tonight to take on the high-powered Sharks offense. Jimmy Howard is fresh off a monstrous 51 save 2-1 win over Los Angeles and will need to be just as good tonight. The Sharks have a lot of speed and talent up front with Dany Heatley, Joe Thornton, and Patrick Marleau and are anchored in the defensive end by Rob Blake and Dan Boyle.
Henrik Zetterberg will be called on tonight in his second game back after a shoulder injury to provide some offense and put pressure on Evgeni Nabokov. The Sharks are a tough, tough team and this will be a good measurement stick for the Red Wings. The Wings will need their power play unit to come through tonight if they are given the chance because the Sharks play the Detroit style of puck possession as well and frankly, they're out Red Wing-ing the Red Wings.
