Detroit and Nashville face-off for the final time this season as the Red Wings look to pick up 2 points in a win to move them to 5th seed and continuing the win streak to 8. It won't be easy as a tough Nashville team stands in its way. The last time these two teams met, neither team could get it done in regulation or overtime so the game was decided by a Niklas Kronwall shootout goal.
Jimmy Howard will start his 25th consecutive game today and Pekka Rinne will take the ice at the other end as both teams gear up for the playoffs. A Detroit win all but solidifies a playoff spot as Calgary would need to win out without Detroit getting a single point in any of their remaining games for it to go to tie-breaking.
Puck drops at 2:00 p.m. ET and the game will air on FS-D. Comment away below and GO WINGS!
