2010 Pick 1: Riley Sheahan- For those of you who might be lacking on your draft knowledge, I reviewed all 7 picks from this year's draft.  Riley Sheahan, despite being from Notre Dame (same as Brett Lebda) may be more like-able than you think...or not...you make the call.

Andreas Lilja says he's still negotiating with the Red Wings, wants to test the market - It's a tough case scenario for Andreas Lilja...who wants more playing time, but is torn because he likes being a Detroit Red Wing.  Plus, his value isn't exactly at a premium after his brain bled for like an entire year.  George Malik of Snapshots reports.

Red Wings Make Qualifying Offers to Nine Players- RC from Word on a Wing discusses today's news that the Red Wings have dealt out a total of 9 qualifying offers to its RFA's.  Some of them are staying, some of them are leaving, some of them are expatriating...but at least they're all ours until July 15th (or when they return from abroad).

FreeAgentBots, Roll Out! - Michael Petrella of The Production Line also discusses the qualifying offers, but kicks it up a notch or two by also discussing the UFA's, possible line combinations for the up-coming season, as well as other odds and ends.

Grade 'Em: Kris Draper - The 16 Year Red Wing has become some what of a legend.  Do we put #33 in the rafters?  Ahhh....we've talked about that enough for one year.  But one thing remains true - he has as many Stanley Cups as the Chicago Blackhawks.  Check.Mate.  But seriously, how do you think he did this year?  Come on over to NOHS and let us know.
