The Wings head into Minnesota trying to kill a three-game losing streak after falling to the Sharks last night 4-2.
The Wild have lost two of their last three, falling to Vancouver in overtime last Saturday and to the Ducks in regulation on Thursday. Apparently, Josh Harding is Minny's go-to guy against Detroit, as he'll get his second start of the season against the same team he faced in his first.

As you read earlier today, Fabian Brunnstrom has been placed on waivers by the club as a prelude to give him the opportunity at playing time with the Griffins so he can better get used to the Wings' system. He can still play while on waivers, but he's a healthy scratch. Holmstrom is being rewarded for playing well last night with a spot on tonight's roster. Eaves is the odd-man out in favor of Cory Emmerton. This morning's skate was optional, so there are no lines, but this is what we're expecting:

Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Cleary
Filppula-Franzen-Hudler
Bertuzzi-Helm-Abdelkader
Holmstrom-Emmerton-Miller

Lidstrom-White
Kronwall-Stuart
Kindl-Ericsson
