Detroit and Dallas go head-to-head for their first meeting of the season in a game that will no doubt answer the question of which team is superior once and for all. Despite getting their shit handed to them in Pittsburgh last night, the Stars remain atop their division and only one point behind the Chicago Blackhawks for tops in the conference (with 2 games in hand, mind you). Also of important note 15 games into the season, Dallas leads the superior conference with a +10 goal differential.
The only thing these plucky underdog Red Wings have working in their favor is that they beat an Oilers team last night which plays a similar style to Dallas' Well.. that and they're a better team.
Jimmy Howard is back in net again and Bertuzzi is still out of the lineup with dizziness, swelling in his ears, and feline AIDS*. Khan(!) says there are no changes to Detroit's lineup for tonight.
*only two of those conditions are confirmed by actual news sources
