The Wings head west to look for their game near the San Jose Bay against a Sharks team that was built specifically to beat them. The last two seasons San Jose has proven that they can do that, but have ultimately fallen short of the cup with rosters good enough to take the hardware. That's not important right now though. What's important is preventing any more wailing about the throes of a Red Wings death spiral before Thanksgiving.
Brendan Smith makes his debut tonight and Fabian Brunnstrom is back in the lineup in favor of Patrick Eaves. Commodore sits and Bert's still hurt.
