Detroit, fresh off a one-game winning streak welcomes the road warrior Colorado Avalanche into the Joe Louis Arena for the fourth game of a six-game homestand. The Avs lost their last game 2-1 at home to Calgary to bring their home record down to a paltry 1-5-0. Unfortunately for the Wings, their away record is 6-1-1 this season.
Detroit is without Bertuzzi tonight due to illness and Commodore due to Kindl coming back in. Helm didn't skate in practice yesterday, but will be in the lineup tonight. Here's how the lines shake out:
