Detroit and Vancouver always promises to be a good matchup between two of the Western Conference's best teams. We last saw these guys in game #3 of the season sitting on four days' rest while they were flying into town for their third contest in four nights and second of back-to-backs. It's best to wipe that 2-0 victory completely from your memory because this is going to be like an entirely different team. Vancouver welcomes us into their home, where they last played two nights ago to beat the Minnesota Wild and continue their quest to sneak up on them in the standings (wait, what?)
This is as close as the Red Wings will come to playing a mirror image of themselves as you can get without magic or drugs.
Comment away and let's go Red Wings.
