Division Hate Week picks back up where it left off as the Wings head to Chicago for their first meeting of the season(!) against the Blackhawks. Chicago trails Detroit in just about every statistical category except the one that decides the standings thanks to them being an incredibly tough team to keep down. They have difficulty keeping goals out of their own net, but thanks to an offense almost as strong as the Wings', they've been able to take more games to OT before losing.
The Hawks do play very well at home though. In the UC, they're 13-3-3. Their last game there was on Wednesday, where they were unable to put any shots behind Jonathan Quick in a 2-0 Kings victory. Detroit continues their attempts to improve both their home and intra-division record against the division's only other true contender. Let's see how they do.
Comment away and let's go Red Wings.
