The Wings head into their first game after the All-Star break with some good news and some not-as-good news. Dan Cleary is back in the lineup tonight, but unfortunately, Pavel Datsyuk's comeback is now slated for Friday (hopefully). The Senators are struggling to score goals, win games, and otherwise do things that make fans of the franchise happy. Working in the Senators favor, they have a young Swedish 6'4" goaltender manning the pipes tonight against the Wings. Ordinarily, having untested goalies in net against playoff-bound teams is not a good thing, but backups and rookies tend to play well against Detroit and he could surprise us.
Ansar Khan has the projected lineup:
Franzen-Zetterberg-Bertuzzi
Hudler-Filppula-Cleary
Draper-Helm-Eaves
Miller-Abdelkader-Mursak
Lidstrom-Kronwall
Ericsson-Rafalski
Kindl-Salei
Howard (starting)
MacDonald
Let's go Red WIngs!
