After a disappointing loss to the Sharks on Tuesday, the Red Wings will take on the Dallas Stars tonight in Detroit. Last time these two teams met, the Red Wings put 7 goals up on the board. Since then, Dallas has changed a bit as a team. The Stars recently acquired D Alex Goligoski from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for F James Neal and D Matt Niskanen.

Brad Richards, who apparently everyone is expecting to get traded despite the fact that he could just, you know re-sign with Dallas, is leading the team in points with 63. Brendan Morrow leads the team in goals with 25 and Steve Ott leads the team in PIMs with 136. The Stars are in a tight race in the Pacific Division so expect them to be giving it a lot of effort tonight. Hopefully the Wings are able to match that effort from the beginning.

Puck drops at 7:30 pm ET and the game will air on NHL-Network. Comment away below and LET'S GO RED WINGS!!
