The Red Wings welcome Mike Modano back to action for the first time since November 26 when he suffered an unfortunate wrist injury against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Modano looked like he was really starting to settle into the Detroit system when the injury occurred so how he does tonight will be interesting to watch. Defenseman Brian Rafalski will miss tonight's game with a sore back and a potentially terrifying combination of Jonathan Ericsson and Niklas Kronwall might take the ice together.

The Sabres won last night against the Senators by a score of 4-2 and as they're clawing for the last spot in the Eastern Conference, you can bet they'll be ready to go tonight. Fun game for tonight: count how many times they mention that Drew Miller and Ryan Miller are brothers.

Puck drops at 7:00 PM ET and the game will air on FS-D. Comment away below and LET'S GO RED WINGS!
