The Red Wings are back in action after a weekend that saw them get shutout in back-to-back games against two division rivals. The Wings welcome an "ORIGINAL 6" team to the Joe when the New York Rangers make their first and only appearance of the season in Detroit. The game is on Versus, so be prepared for mediocre announcing and boring intermissions, but this time with twice as much Pierre McGuire.

Per Khan(!), Pavel Datsyuk is back in the lineup for the Wings, who are running out of excuses for their inconsistent play. The Rangers are in the midst of a losing streak of their own, and they are turning to Martin Biron to try and turn things around. Biron has seen limited action in his career against the Wings, going 1-2-0 with a 3.25 GAA. Naturally, expect the Wings to make him look like a Vezina candidate.

I thought that since the game is on Versus, everyone needs to do a shot each time they mention "Original 6" to make things interesting. As always, keep it classy, and chat away!
