The Red Wings welcome Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals to Joe Louis Arena. The Capitals come into tonight's game with a 9-game win streak on the line, thanks in large part to the performance of rookie goalie Braden Holtby.

The Capitals have turned their high scoring offensive minded team from last year into one that focuses more on defense. The Wings have struggled to score goals lately (with some exceptions) so will it be another low scoring affair or will they continue scoring after the 5-3 win over the Blues?

Jimmy Howard will start in net for the Wings and Michal Neuvirth will get the start as Holtby gets a rest. As mentioned in the post earlier, Chris Osgood is scratched tonight and Joey MacDonald will replace him on the bench.

Puck drops at 7:30 PM and the game will air on any of the above, depending on what location you're in. Comment away below and LET'S GO RED WINGS!
