The Red Wings come into San Jose tonight after a rough loss in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks. To make the game tougher following a loss like that, the Sharks have won 7 straight games and 12 of their last 14. Joey MacDonald will start in net tonight for the Red Wings and they'll need to play tight defense against one of the better offenses in the league.

The last time these two teams met, the Sharks downed the Wings 4-3 as Devin Setoguchi potted a pair of goals that night and Antti Niemi made some great saves to keep the Sharks in front. But tonight is a new game and that 4-3 decision doesn't matter. The Wings will have a tough battle tonight and will need to score more than one goal, the total they were held to last night. Eddie Bo Franzen's papa is due for a goal and maybe tonight is the night he ends his scoring drought.

Puck drops at 10:30 PM ET and the game will air on FS-D so make a pot of coffee and stay up late with us. Comment away below and LET'S GO RED WINGS!
