Stupid late games.

The Wings and Coyotes head west to continue their round 1 series, with the Wings holding a 2-0 series lead. They leave the friendly confines of Joe Louis Arena to head to Glendale for the next 2 games. The Coyote fans will be rocking the "white-out", but expect a large red contingent to support the visitors. They don't call it "Hockeytown West" for nothing.

As far as we know, there are no changes to the Wings lineup. We know that Henrik Zetterberg is going to miss Game 3, but he's in Arizona, so let the speculation begin that he'll suit up for Game 4. Johan Franzen and his 23 stitches should be good to go. On the Coyotes side, Ed Jovanovski is in the lineup and without a cage, despite taking a hit from that giant of a man, Darren Helm.

Tonight is a pivotal game for both teams. This is essentially Phoenix' season: lose and you're down 3-0 to a team that has a ton of experience closing out an opponent. Win and you're back in the series. We talked all year about how the Wings didn't match the intensity of their opponent because the Wings had less to play for. Time for them to prove that they have the killer instinct intact and put the Coyotes one step closer to elimination.

This is your game thread.
