The Red Wings come into tonight's game after an embarrassing 10-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday. But, there's good news as Jimmy Howard is returning to the line-up today after sitting out with a shoulder injury. Howard will start and be backed up by Joey MacDonald. Nashville will start gigantor Pekka Rinne in net. Rinne is making a push for the Vezina Trophy (deservedly so) and has been given the task of shutting down a frustrated Red Wings offense.

The Red Wings will be without Pavel Datsyuk against the Predators tonight. The Red Wings will need to continue to ride the success of Henrik Zetterberg in Datsyuk's absence. In the last meeting, the Predators were very physical and the Red Wings had a tough time getting any open ice. Let's see if that (and giving up goals in bucketloads) changes today.

With two big Central Division points on the line, the Red Wings need to shake off the loss to the Blues and play much, much better.

Puck drops at 3:00 PM ET and the game will air on FS-D. Comment away below and LET'S GO RED WINGS!
