The Wings treated us to a stirring come-from-behind victory against a Nashville Predators team that is extremely stingy and physical, but they don't have time to revel in the good feelings as they welcome the Wild to Joe Louis Arena for the fourth and final meeting of the season. If you recall, Todd Bertuzzi celebrated his 1000th game in style as he scored the final goal in the shootout to seal a Wings' 2-1 victory.

Yesterday, the Wings clinched a playoff spot for the 20th straight season and earned 100 points for the 11th straight season, both of which are the longest active streaks in the NHL. Today, the Wings will be looking for their next big accomplishment: taking back the Central Division. A regulation win combined with a Blackhawks loss to the Tampa Bay Yzermans will clinch the Wings' 9th Division in 10 years, and will ensure that they earn a top 3 seed in the West.

The big news today is the return of the dangle, Pavel Datsyuk. He will be back after missing 7 games with a lower body injury. Healthy scratches are Kris Draper and Mike Modano, and Niklas Kronwall will miss his second straight game with an upper body injury.

The Wings have had their way with the Wild for the most part in the last 5 years, going 16-2-3 in their last 21 meetings. The Wings responded well to the debacle against St. Louis, and now it's time for them to wrap up the division and get ready for a deep playoff run.
