Today's Video of the Day takes us back to March 22, 2010. It wasn't that long ago that there was some doubt about whether Jimmy Howard was the Red Wings' goaltender of the future. His play was up to par, but many fans just weren't sure. It was this March night against the Penguins that Jimmy became one of the most loved Wings.
After Sidney Crosby repeatedly hit Henrik Zetterberg with some cheap shots at the end of the game, Jimmy came to his future captain's defense and left Sid with a bad taste in his mouth (thanks to his most likely, foul-smelling glove). The face-wash heard 'round the world is today's Video of the Day.
