Defending The Blue Line | Joining Forces Community Challenge
Great hockey-related charity from our friends at Hockey Wilderness is up for recognition in a national Joining Forces Community Challenge. Here's their blurb: "To date we have provided over $500,000 in benefits to military families across the US. We provide free hockey equipment, grants to help with association fees, free summer hockey camps, and NHL game tickets. Our ultimate goal is to expand into other sports and be the one-stop-shop to keep military kids active in sports while their parents are serving! -There is no one else doing what we're doing." - So go vote for this great charity!

Discussion: It's not all doom and gloom after last night's embarrassment against the Canadiens. The Red Wings lead the NHL in points at the All-Star break. According to ESPN's John Buccigross, the last two times the Wings led the league in points at the All-Star break, they won the Stanley Cup.

Let's Go Red Wings.
