Injury rash affords Red Wings a golden opportunity | The Detroit News | detroitnews.com
Six regulars out of the lineup and make it seven if you want to count Eaves who hasn't really played all season. There's no better time for guys like Filppula, Hudler, Kronwall, and Helm to step up and show that they can lead this team.

Bruins Sign Marty Turco to One-Year Deal - Stanley Cup of Chowder
Tuukka Rask is out 4-6 weeks with a groin injury. The Bruins have signed former Wolverine Marty Turco. Much like Evgeni Nabokov last year, Turco has to clear waivers before he can join the Bruins. He'll also be ineligible for the playoffs because he signed after the deadline. If I'm the Senators or Maple Leafs or any rival team of the Bruins....I'm claiming Turco just to screw them over.

Matt Cooke is a changed man this season. Is it time stop thinking about him as the dirty rat he's always been?
