In case you were under a rock yesterday.

Tootoo won’t be heading to GR if clears; ‘no chance’ Nyquist gets called up | Red Wings Front
One more player will have to give. In my mind (if we can't somehow find a way to get Sammy out of here) the only logical option is Eaves. Miller is also always an option, but I think Miller is a better player, and I think Holland and Babcock agree.

Red Wings defensemen turn attention to transition game | The Detroit News

Kind of unrelated, but I really like our defensive core this year. Even with Big E out it seems as if almost everyone is playing at a pretty high level. Even Quincey looks half-decent out on the ice.

Rumor Roundup: Would the Leafs trade Reimer for a center? | Post-to-Post
I don't think it would be worth it. First of all, I don't think you can be totally sure that Bernier is the real deal yet. Second, what would Reimer give you? He doesn't have that much trade value, and teams in search of goaltenders that are willing to give up top-line centers are hard to come by. My best bet would be Edmonton. Reimer plus a group of prospects and picks for Gagner would probably be a win for both teams, as Reimer would be a better goaltender than Dubnyk and Gagner instantly becomes the Leafs #1 center.
