First off, in case you missed the news released last night while some other highly-watched game was happening, the Red Wings recalled G Petr Mrazek and F Tomas Tatar from Grand Rapids last night. Tatar practiced earlier today on the wing with Pavel Datsyuk and Valtteri Filppula (Bertuzzi moved to the third line with Cleary and Abdelkader). Jimmy Howard took the bulk of the work in practice, so he'll likely start Tuesday, but that's not set in stone. Either they called Mrazek up to play or it's possible they called him up to get McCollum some playing time in Grand Rapids. Either way, with four games in six days this week, I'm not expecting Jimmy Howard to start all of them.
In worse news, the update is out about Brendan Smith and the shoulder he injured in Saturday night's loss to the Blue Jackets.

Oh fantastic. Ian White told reporters today that he's expecting to be ready to go for tomorrow's Jiri Hudler welcome-back party. It's anybody's guess at this point as to whether that means Brian Lashoff can expect to get back into the lineup. Based on Jakub Kindl's play for the last two games, I'm not so sure of that.
Also, remember last week when the Wings said Darren Helm should be back by THIS week?
Those "further tests' Include a bone scan to make sure that the two MRIs already done didn't miss something.
So to recap: Mrazek up, Tatar in, White back, Smith out for a while, Helm not back yet.
