Detroit has a chance to get back to .500 with a win against the Oilers and they really need to grab that. The schedule is getting harder later for Detroit and they have to grab points where they can.
The Oilers have lost three straight and dropped a shootout to Columbus on Tuesday. They're not likely happy about having done that and Detroit is going to give them a chance to take it out on somebody.
