Who's in, who's out, who's up, who's down, and who's playing with who.

The Wings are fighting for their playoff lives. Never give up! Never surrender! Never give your enemy an inch! Petal to the metal and WIN!

Puck drop is at 7pm, not the originally scheduled 8pm start time. Pass the word on.

The Dirt

Everyone attended morning skate today, and as expected there are no lineup changes from the last two games. You gotta dance with the ones who brought ya.

We only need one point to clinch our playoff spot. Columbus, Minnesota and Detroit are all fighting for the 7th and 8th seed. There are a lot of possible combinations of outcomes tonight, but the only way the Wings don't make it in is if Columbus wins in any fashion, Minnesota gets at least 1 point, and Detroit loses in regulation. Anything else gets us into the playoffs.

Helen St. James tweeted that she's hearing that both Chicago and Anaheim will play the first playoff game on Tuesday, regardless of who their opponent is.

The Stars are starting Richard Bachman in net tonight, he's 6-4-0 with a 3.28 GAA and .880 SV% in his last 10 games, however he's won his last 4 out of 5 games.

Fun Facts

Red Wings man games lost 242 Stars 84

Despite being a combined -2 in the last 2 games, Joakim "Joker" "Jester" Andersson has played more shorthanded time than anyone else (on either team) with a combined 7:38 SH ice time. The next closest Wings player is Kronwall with 7:05 and Ericsson with 7:01. Considering the Wings only allowed 1 PP goal against in 8 opportunities in the last 2 games, I think we may have found our Drew Miller "PK machine" replacement. Andersson also went a combined 9-7 (56%) in the faceoff circle.

Brendan Smith's brother Reilly will be in the lineup tonight for the stars. I'm sure no announcers will mention this a million times during the game.
