Talk about a tale of two periods. The Wings came out slow like they have in every single other game in this series, but by the end Detroit was the better team. A dumb penalty led to a dumb goal, but the Wings got the equalizer and take a little bit of momentum into the second period.
This next 20 minutes is kind of a big deal. The Wings might want to score a few more goals and build a lead. Those tend to help.
